Cheng & Tsui Reviews

Been using this for my class and it’s been really easy so far. The digital books load fast, and I haven’t run into any issues yet lol...

I’ve used a couple of Cheng & Tsui books for my Chinese class, and honestly... they’ve been really helpful. The lessons are clear, the examples make sense, and they don’t try to be too fancy. Just practical and easy to study from.

Ordered some books from cheng-tsui.com and they did eventually show up, but shipping was way slower than expected. Tracking didn’t update for days, so wasn’t even sure the package was actually moving.

Nothing arrived damaged, which was a relief, but the whole thing felt unreliable and stressful since needed the books for class. Would probably only order again if there was plenty of extra time...

I do like the book selection, but a couple things I needed for class weren’t in stock, and I couldn’t really tell when they’d be available again. I ended up checking other sites, which kind of defeats the purpose when you’re trying to get everything in one order.

I found my books quickly, which was all I needed. I kept expecting there to be some catch or some extra step trying to push me somewhere else, but it was straightforward enough.

Shipping wasn’t the fastest ever, but it was fine and everything arrived in good shape. For me, it felt like a good balance of price and quality, and I’d probably order again.

The lessons are super clear, and I’m actually remembering words way better now lol. It’s been a big help with making Mandarin feel less overwhelming.

The worksheets and extra activities save me time, especially when I need something quick for review or homework. That said, some files take more digging than they should, and when I’ve had trouble finding things, it kind of feels like those usability issues aren’t really being taken seriously.

I still come back because the materials are useful for my classes, but the site could definitely be cleaner and easier to navigate. It’s not perfect, and I do wish I felt a little more heard as a teacher using it, but it’s still solid backup material.

I had a small issue with my order, but they replied faster than I expected. The customer service team was really nice and got everything sorted without turning it into a whole complicated thing, which I definitely appreciated... just made the whole experience way less stressful.
